Rose Polcari, 81, of Phillipsburg, died Sunday, June 7, 1992 in Warren Hospital. She was a silk winder for the former Tirrell Silk Mill. She also worked in the domestic services department of Lafayette College for three years. Born May 13, 1911 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Grace Boscia Frinzi. She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg. Her husband, the late John Polcari died in October of 1975. She is survived by four sons, Vincent, John and Robert, all of Phillipsburg and Anthony of Forks Twp; two daughters, Mary Josephine Corpora of Phillipsburg and Grace Maragulia of Easton; two brothers, John and Charles Frinzi, both of Phillipsburg; two sisters, Mary Zamataro and Dorothy Fuller, both of Phillipsburg; fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, Salvatore, Joseph and Anthony Frinzi and three sisters, Pearl Ritz, Josephine DeThomas and Jennie Frinzi. Funeral services will be held 8:15 a.m. Wednesday from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. in St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, 426 S Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Greenwich Twp., NJ. Calling hours will be held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
