Carl J. Re, 75, of Easton, died Tuesday, March 5, 1996 in the Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Palmer Twp, where he was a patient for four days.
He was employed at Magnetic Winding in Easton from 1944 until retiring as a foreman in 1984.
Born June 23, 1920 in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Giuseppe (Joseph) and Rosalia Pecorelli Re.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
He was a past president for the former I.U.E., Local 112 or Easton in the late 1940's, and was also a member of the Order of the Fleas, Easton.
He and his wife, the former Joyce E. Young observed their 18th wedding anniversary last July 16. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Joseph Re of New Jersey; two daughters, Carol R. Leiendecker of West Reading, PA and Beth Re of Bethlehem; one brother, Samuel Re of Cape Cod, Mass; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Three brothers, Dominic, James and Joseph and three sisters, Rose Mugavero, Carmella and Josephine Re all died earlier.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Calling hours will be held 7-9 PM Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Easton Cemetery, 7th St., Easton.
