Janet Jean Schiavone, 59, of Pohatcong Twp, died Friday, February 12, 1999 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp., following an automobile accident near her home in Pohatcong Twp., NJ

She was a receptionist at Ray Grant Plumbing in Somerville, NJ.

Born April 7, 1939 in Bangor, she is the daughter of Katherine Krayowski Schiavone, with whom she lived, and the late Gene Lewis Schiavone.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alpha.

She was a graduate of Piux X High School in Bangor and also earned a B.S. Degree in Art Education from the Moore Institute of Art, Science and Industry in Philadelpha. After college, she was an art teacher in Ridley Twp., Pa. for several years.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Mark A. Cicero at home and David J. Cicero of Easton; two brothers, Gene of Plainfield Twp., Pa and Richard of Sarasota, Fla.

Funeral services will be held 8:15 a.m. Wednesday from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Fifth Ave, Alpha. Entombment will take place in the parish mausoleum. Calling hours will be held 7:00 to 9:00 pm Tuesday in the funeral home.
