Jerry Allen Stanton
Jerry
Allen Stanton, 56, of Easton, died Tuesday, June 29, 1999 in
his home after a long illness.
He
was a laborer and warehouse worker for Thypin Steel in Palmer
Twp. for ten years and also worked for Ecolair of West Easton
for many years.
Born March 11, 1943 in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late
Frank and Elsie Jones Stanton.
He was a member of the Key to Life Fellowship Church in Easton.
He was a member of the Pomfret Club, Concordia Maennerchor, Seventh
Ward Democratic Club, all in Easton and the Young Democratic
Club of Wilson Boro and Safety First of West Easton.
He and his wife, the former Caroline May Werkheiser, were married
August 15, 1998. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a
son, William Allen Marsh of Easton; two daughters, Susan of Easton
and Brenda Van Arsdale of Easton; a sister, Joan Huff of Williams
Township; two brothers, Ronald of Easton and Ted of Maryland.
A brother, William died earlier.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Sunday in the Key to
Life Fellowship Church, 11th and Spring Garden Sts., Easton.
There will be no calling hours. Interment will be at the convenience
of the family. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main
St., Phillipsburg is handling the arrangements.
The family will accept memorials contribution, sent in care of
Rev. Joseph F. Shiller, 1351 Washington St., Easton, PA 18042.
