Donald W. Steckel, 60, of Harmony Twp., died Thursday, July 5, 2001 in Edison, NJ.

He worked for forty years at Steckel Concrete Company in Harmony Twp. retiring in 1997 as president of the company.

Born December 29,1940 in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Dora Warner Steckel.

He is survived by three daughters, Tracie and Lynn of East Brunswick, NJ and Terry Cooper of Fayetteville, NC; two brothers, Kenneth and William, both of Harmony Twp.; a sister, Sueann E. Dittmar of New Village, NJ and three grandchildren.

Cremation was private. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 5 Main St., Phillipsburg. A visitation period will be held from 2:00 p.m. until time
of services in the funeral home on Sunday.
