William P. Stueber, Sr., 72, of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, September 13, 2000 in Warren Hospital.

He worked for Ingersoll-Rand -Turbo Division in Phillipsburg as a draftsman from 1955 until his retirement in 1987.

Born June 26, 1928 in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Paul F. and Louise Klingfuf Stueber.

He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

He was a Private First Class in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

He graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1947.

His wife, the former Genevieve Ritz died Sept. 15, 1985.

He is survived by a son, William P., II, of Stockton, NJ and a sister, Janet Taylor of Vero Beach, Fla., and several nieces and nephews. A brother Paul died earlier.

Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday in the church, 426 S Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Greenwich Twp., NJ. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 until time of services Monday in the funeral home.
