Dorothy F. Simpson
Dorothy F. Simpson, 81, of Oxford,
formerly of Phillipsburg and Pohatcong Twp., died Friday, November
11, 2005 in Warren Hospital.
Dorothy retired from the housekeeping
department of Warren Hospital in 1990 after working there for
more than ten years. She previously worked as an inspector at
CFI in Frenchtown, NJ.
Born July 1, 1924 in Camden,
NJ, she was a daughter of the late Lillian Kilroy.
She most recently attended the
River of Life Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Phillipsburg and
was a former member and Sunday school teacher at the Finesville
Methodist Church, in Finesville, Pohatcong Township. Dorothy
also served as an assistant Girl Scout Leader in Pohatcong Township
many years ago.
Her husband, Paul Simpson died
earlier.
She is survived by three daughters,
Paula Schneck and her husband Glenn of Carpentersville, Linda
Huff and her husband Edward of Asbury and Carol Parton and her
husband, Robert of Oxford; a sister, Laura Schaffer of Florida;
seven grandchildren, Bonnie Yunka and her husband Frank, Glenn
Schneck, II and his wife Becky, and John and his wife Nicole,
Brian Huff, Jennifer Huff, Alan Apgar and his wife Kim and Shelly
Apgar; six great-grandchildren, Tina and Alicia Yukna, Desiree
and Jessica Schneck and Brianna, Mathew and Kayla Apgar.
Services will be held 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home. Private cremation will
be held following the services and interment of the cremated
remains will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Greenwich Cemetery,
Greenwich, Twp. A calling hour will be held from 2:00 p.m. Tuesday
until time of services Tuesday in the funeral home.
