Jeffrey P. Slack, 48, of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, July 22, 2000 in his home.

He was a driver and delivery man for Strober - New Jersey Building Supply in Phillipsburg.

Born April 3, 1952 in Patterson, NJ, he was the son of Robert Slack, Sr., of Marshalls Creek, Pa, and the late Katherine Slack.

He was a former member of the Elk's Lodge in Randolph, NJ.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, the former Doris Batson of Phillipsburg, a son, John P. of Phillipsburg, a companion, Josephine Burham, and her daughter, Nickey Laturette of Phillipsburg; five brothers, Gary of England, Robert Jr., of Lancaster, Pa, Richard of Marshalls Creek, Pa., Wayne of Hopatcong, NJ, Brian, Sr. of Phillipsburg; a sister Carol of Stroudsburg, Pa., a step-sister Carol of Chicago, Ill and a granddaughter, Kayla. He was predeceased by Josephine's two daughters, Cynthia and Amy Burham

Funeral services will be held 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until time of services in the funeral home.

The family will accept memorial contibutions, sent in care of the funeral home.
