Nancy E. Smith, 76, of Easton, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Sunday, February 8, 2004 in Easton Hospital.

She was a former machine operator at American National Can. Co., Washington, NJ.

Born September 16, 1927 in Herrick Twp, Bradford County, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Fred M. and Mildred A. Furman Vought.

Survivors include three daughters, Cindy of Harmony Twp., N.J., Betty Jones of Trenton, N.J. and Hope of Phillipsburg; a brother Curtis of Texas and a grandson, David J. Smith of Phillipsburg. A brother Frederick Vought died earlier.
