Joan A. (Moore) Spieles, 68, of Phillipsburg, died Monday, January 26, 2004 in her home.

Born July 1, 1935 in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late James E., Sr., and Ruth A. Bullock Moore.

Her husband of 42 years, Robert Spieles, died February 17, 1997.

She is survived by a son, Adam and his wfie, Bethany of Phillipsburg; two brothers, James E., Jr. and Richard, both of Phillipsburg; two sisters, Caroline Maddock and Judith Moore, both of Phillipsburg; two grandsons, Adam D. and James R., also of Phillipsburg. A son, John R. died earlier.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. The Rev. Belfield Costello, of the First Moravian Church, Easton, will officiate. Private cremation will follow the services. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Saturday in the funeral home.
