Mark T. Stratton, 42, of Stewartsville, NJ, died Wednesday, November 24, 1999 in Lopatcong Twp., NJ. as a result of a motor vehicle accident Mark was a courier for Federal Express, in Allentown, PA. He was also a customer service representative for Northwest Airlines in Allentown. Born August 6, 1957 in Bangor, Maine, he was the son of Sally E. Hersey Stratton of Fort Myers, Florida and the late Wilbur R. Stratton, Jr. Mark was a member of the United States Trotting Association. Mark previously owned Stratton Stables, Stewartsville, NJ, where he owned, trained, drove and bred harness horses. He was a member of the New England Patriots Fan Club and a member of the Federal Express Bowling League. In addition to his mother, Mark
is survived by his maternal grandmother, Evelyn LaBelle of Bangor,
Maine; three daughters, Rebecca S. and Sarah E., both of Hellertown,
PA and Erica L.of Oslo, Norway; four brothers, Peter T. of White
Sulpher Springs, NY, Paul D. of Northfield, OH, David A. of Ottawa,
OH and Matthew S. of Fort Myers, Fla.; a granddaughter, Lilly
Danielle Stratton of Hellertown and his life partner, Susan R.
Jackson of Stewartsville, NJ. A gathering for friends and relatives will also be held at the home of Mark's cousin, Richard Stratton in Hudson, NH. this Saturday, December 4, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The family requests memorial contributions for the benefit of his children, made payable to and sent in care of Mark's brother, Matthew S. Stratton, 7119 Lakeridge View Ct #103, Fort Myers, Fl., 33907. Contributions will also be accepted at the gathering periods on Tuesday and Saturday. |
