Frances Testa, 78, of the Care Center of Lopatcong, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Tuesday, December 31, 1996 in Easton Hospital, Wilson Boro.

Born January 4, 1918 in Easton, she is the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Gugliuzza Azzalina.

She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

Her husband, Joseph died December 14, 1982.

She is survived by one son, Charles of Potomac, Maryland; one brother, Salvatore of Bethlehem; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A daughter Marie Paini and two brothers, Anthony and Nicholas all died earlier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:45 a.m. Friday in St. Philip and St. James Church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in the parish cemetery.

The family requests memorial contributions to the Easton Hospital Kidney Dialysis Unit at Easton Hospital, 250 South 21st St., Easton, PA 18042-3851 or to your favorite charity.

The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, is handling the funeral arrangements.
