Ruth Tolotta, 74, of Phillipsburg, died Thursday, May 7, 1992 in St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill, Pa.

She was a seamstress at the Gary Lee Sportswear in Phillipsburg and retired in 1974.

Born June 6, 1917 in Gaeta, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore, Sr. and Ann Marie Chiavrelotti Pugliese.

She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

Mrs. Tolotta and her husband, John, observed their 55th wedding anniversary this past August 10th.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Joseph F. Tolotta of Phillipsburg, three daughters, Grace V. Stettner of Phillipsburg, Jo Anne Riddle and Ann Marie Schumann, both of Bethlehem; two brothers, Salvatore and Joseph Pugliese, both of Phillipsburg and two sisters, Mary Russo of Jersey City and Rose M. Patti of Lopatcong Twp.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.in St. Philip and St. James Church, 426 S Main St., Phillipsburg. Entombment will take place in the Holy Apostle's Mausoleum, Greenwich Twp., NJ.
