John Joseph Talbot, 61, of Phillipsburg, died Friday, December 4, 2009 in his home.

John was a press operator at Colorstar Silk Screen Corp., Bethlehem, PA for twenty-six years.

Born August 18, 1948 in Jersey City, NJ, he was a son of the late Joseph and Amanda Kramer Talbot.

He was a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.

John and his wife, the former Cecilia Ann Obeda celebrated their thirty-seventh wedding anniversary November 18th.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, John S. and his wife Kadee of Alamogrodo, NM, Christopher E. and his wife Patty of Phillipsburg, Paul A. and his wife Holly of Hawthorne, NJ and Sean D. of Phillipsburg; a brother, Robert E. of Stroudsburg, Pa. and three grandchildren, Steven, Samantha and Emma.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. Private cremation will follow the services. Online condolences may be submitted by visiting www.noto-wynkoop.com.
