Dorothy May Toth, 82, of Alpha, died Sunday, September 15, 2002 in Warren Hospital. Born June 4, 1920 in Philadelphia, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Chester and May Fitzgerald Gross. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Alpha, Alpha, N.J. She and her husband, Zaltan J., observed their forty-ninth wedding anniversary June 27th. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son William and his wife Sharon of Roseville, California; a daughter Anna May and her husband Stephen Luchansky of Laurel, Delaware; a brother Francis "Pete" Gross of Rockhill, Pa.; a sister Anna Van Vorst of St. Petersburg, Florida and five grandchildren, Jason, Ashley, Megan, Brandi and Stephen Luchansky. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, in the United Presbyterian Church of Alpha, High Street, Alpha. The Rev. James Newman will officiate. Burial will be in the United Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Alpha. Calling hours will be held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg.
