Zalton J. Toth

Zalton J. Toth, 91, of Queen Creek, Arizona, formerly of Alpha, NJ, died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 in the Apache Junction Health Care in Apache Junction, AZ.

He was a retired steel worker for Taylor-Wharton in Easton, Pa.

Born March 13, 1914 in Alpha, he was a son of the late Antol and Margit Alsg Toth.

He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Alpha, the former John Dolak American Legion Post, Alpha and the Warren County Beagle Club in Warren Glen.

He was a gunners mate third class in the Navy during World War Two.

His wife of forty-nine years, the former Dorothy May Gross died September 15, 2002.

He is survived by a son, William Z. Toth and his wife Sharon of Queen Creek; a daughter Anna May Luchansky and her husband Stephen of Laurel, Delaware and five grandchildren, Jason, Ashley, Megan, Brandi and Stephen Luchansky. He was predeceased by four brothers, Julius, Roger, Ernest and Julius and two sisters, Ethel Brenner and Irene Paul.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2006 in the church, 859 High Street, Alpha. Burial will be in the United Presbyterian Cemetery, Alpha. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday, January 3, 2006 in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Phillipsburg.
