You Are Not Forgotten

You are not forgotten, loved one nor will you ever be, as long as life and memory last we will remember thee. We miss you now, our hearts are sore. As time goes by we'll miss you more. Your loving smile, your gentle face no one can fill your vacant place.

I know that a part of Tina will live with me forever. As hard as this is I have to find peace by saying that God needed Tina's help. Daniel, Michael and Mark I will keep you all in my prays - Barbara, Tommy, Cathy , Johnny , Laura , Kenny and Diane. I pray that all of you can continue to be strong and there for the boys..... i will always remember tina as the person who affected everyone around her, she was a bright comet that changed everyones orbit, her legacy was to help others and i never seen anyone with a bigger heart i truly loved her, as all who met her can attest she was straight forward, and honest, i have no words to describe her strenght, and her determination to live, but i can give you the reason , she fought so hard and long, its as simple as this, she did it for all the people she loved, i said this to her kids ( many people die alone and unloved) tina was loved by so many, her friends and family will never forget her, i imagin her in heaven with my mom mary vanderburg and her mom margie fischer, it comforts me that your children are here and a part of your heart is in each one, as for tom john frank and peanut, and all your friends we all thank you tina for being in our life, i miss my tee tee till we meet in heaven love ken

Tina was my sister,

I can truly write a Book if I was to talk about Tina's life. She is one of those people like my mother others are drawn to. Every day was a saga and I don't mean it in a negative sense. Tina's life was not an easy one even though she would say it was. She was a little unorthodox in some ways but always made it work for her and the boys. She was tough on the outside but a truly sensitive person. The door to her house was always unlocked and would allow people who needed a bed the shelter. If someone needed money somehow she would manage to scrape it up to loan or give. That's just a very small part of the person Tina was. Here is some trivia you may not know about Tina. She was hit four times by cars growing up in Jersey City. She was prone to injuries and Jersey City Medical Center was going to rename their emergency room after her. Tina was always getting into trouble in some way or another. My brother and I thought if you were to shave her hair off you might find 666, but upon looking over her whole short life I would say nothing can be further from that. She was faithful in her belief of Jesus Christ and one of the most courageous people I know. Her battle with cancer was inspiring if I may use the word. She suffered tremendously but I for one never heard her say why me. Tina's legacy is she does not need a book written of her life. All the people she touched along her journey can never forget her, pages fade memories are forever. I love you "T", you will be missed.
