Nephew Bernie,

Please accept my deepest of condolences. Life gives us many pleasures and families give us "LOVE". Bernie, you and Sue have always made me feel these family pleasures. I speak for Uncle Bill (even though he is above the clouds) and myself that you are "SO LOVED".

When heart's are filled with sorrow
There is little one can say.
May time bring you comfort when
Dear ones pass away.
Just know you are in my prayers.

Please know that I feel your sorrow deep within. My love to you "Nephew Bernie".

Please accept my condolences regarding the passing of Susan Bullock. I worked with Susan at the Journal of Commerce and enjoyed her sense of humor very much. She always had a joke to offer when she wanted someone to smile.

Accept the peace and strength that come from Jesus Christ because His peace and strength is the purest. May Jesus Christ open your hearts to the many blessings of love and grace during this period of grief. Susan is in eternity future now and celebrating her relationship with her God.

Respectfully,

My sympathy to Sue's family. I only knew Sue about 5 years, but saw her at many races and she was always friendly and I know she was enjoying the race. I recall talking to her about her celebrity status after seeing a story about her in a running magazine, also when she won the Ben Gay for being the last women in the 1st Lee Emery run. I again saw her prior the 2nd Emery run, and I asked her if she was coming to our run she replied; "I have to defend my title don't I ? She will be missed.

Gladys & Bernie,

I am sorry I cannot be there in person, but my heart is there. Sue was a friend & even like a daughter to me. I thank both of you for sharing her with me. As sorry as I am to lose her, I am glad she is out of pain. I will think of her whenever I look up to heaven, as I know she will be there watching over me.

Much Love, Ruth Kunsman

Please accept my deepest sympathy. Sue & I were friends at school from our elementary days at Lopatcong to Phillipsburg High. Till this day I can always say she was a warm, caring & great person. I really felt bad hearing about her death & I pray that God gives her family the strength needed at this time.
Sue you will always be remembered with great love.

Dear Bernie and family...

I'm sorry we cannot be with you at this time. Our deepest sympathies to you and your families on Sue's passing. Whenever I see her picture or think of her I have to smile. The last time we were altogether, Sue was making everyone laugh with her great jokes and expressions. This is what I will remember most about her. May your memories of Sue be the ones that make you smile and comfort you at this time.

We are heartbroken at Sue's passing. As a patient, long time employee and very close friend, our family loved her deeply. Our relationship had many different levels and I'm so glad we had the time we did, at work, at seminars, in our home, on the marathon path, and even up on high ropes together! Sue was the epitome of what a true friend is and should be, and I was proud to witness her growth personally and professionally.

Ben will miss his dear Aunt Sue. I'm so glad to have seen her on her birthday and to spend her last moments by her side. "When a friend becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure". Sue will be a priceless treasure forever.

God Bless the whole Boyer-Bullock family at this difficult time.

Please accept my deepest sympathies on Sue's passing. I worked with her at the Journal of Commerce. I will always remember fondly because of her wonderful sense of humor. I then had the fortune to reconnect with her several years later at Marcus Family Chiropractic. I admired her dedication to her running, but I especially admired her ability to share a smile and a joke with people. My heart goes out to Sue's family and friends during this difficult time. For myself, I will miss her tremendously. But whenever I think of her, it will be with a smile.

Sincerely,

I got to know Sue as a chiropractic assistant, she quickly became a friend. We shared a few car rides to seminars and no matter how far the drive, with Sue in the car it was never long enough! I, like all who had the pleasure to know her, will surely miss her.

Hugs to her family.

Love,

Bernie, boys and family.

God seems to take only the very special ones in His kingdom. We are all very thankful that He shared Sue with us for as long as He did. She certainly was a true inspiration for others and voiced a deep love for her family. She will be missed greatly.

I first met Sue at a 5km run in Bethlehem, PA in July of 2001. After the race, we randomly sat next to each other on a van returning to the start line. It turned out that I finished 2nd overall, a guy to my left finished 3rd overall, and Sue finished last overall. Interestingly enough, Sue was equally proud, if not moreso of her accomplishment. During the conversation, she mentioned that that race was something like the 250th race that she had run. I went home amazed and energized how thrilled she was, not to win, but simply to compete. I will remember her for this attribute, which reminds me how important it is to consider why I am out there in the first place, to focus the energy within me to run my own race, irregardless of whether I come in first or last place. Super Sue was and is in my mind often, reminding me of her courage and strength.

Bernie, Bernard Frances Bullock III (I know you love the name in its entirety from your routines!:-), and Chuck,

When I cry, when I laugh, remembering Sue, one thing that sticks with me is that she told me she had no regrets. There was nothing she didn't get to do that she wanted to do. The only thing Sue said she wanted, was more time with her family.

I want to live my life like that. No regrets.

God bless -

I only found out today that Sue had passed, or even that she had been sick. What the heck- 2.5 years later...
2 memories- one time she asked me, "I thought all you Bullocks were rich! That's why I married one" in a puzzled voice. And the time I watched one of the races in Phillipsburg- OH! so long ago and she came in last and the cheers were louder for Sue than anyone else in the race.
I haven't been in touch with the family obviously.

Sorry, Bernie for your loss

Bernie, Gladys and boys, It has been a long time, and what a shock it was to recently find out about Sue's death. There are so many memories I have of Sue...mostly funny. I still remember the time she was "very" pregnant with Bernie and she got stuck in the innertube in our pool. My Dad passed away last fall and I now understand the pain you all must have gone through. I just wish I had know sooner. I would love to hear from the family. My thoughts are with you all.
