Words can not express how deeply sorry I feel over the loss of Aunt Carolyn. I truly do not know what to say except my heart goes out to all the Foss's at this difficult time. Although I will not be able to attend the memorial service on Wednesday (due to my work schedule), my thoughts and prayers will be with all of you. I hope the wonderful memories you all have of her will help you through this difficult time. I truly believe she is now in a better place even though she will be tremendously missed. God Bless all of you.

Love,

Although I didn't know Mrs. Foss, I was friends with Mary Lou prior to moving to Rhode Island 13 years ago. One thing that stands out in my mind that was so special were the two cross stitched "photos" of Mary Lou's girls done by Mary Lou's mother. She was an extremely talented woman. Every time I went to Mary Lou's, I would admire those cross-stitched wall hangings. Please extend my condolences to the family.

Mary Lou and family:

There are many things in life
we do not understand, but we
must trust God's judgement and
and be guided by "His" hand.
And all who have God's blessing
can rest safely in "His" care,
for "He" promises safe passage on
the wings of faith and prayer.

No words can articulate my sorrow in the loss of your Mother. My Mother was the "star of my heart".

From Florida, I send you my deepest condolences.

Dear Jennifer, Mr. Foss and the rest of the family,

Just to let you know I will be thinking of you over the coming weeks. I appreciated being with you all yesterday -- getting to know your mother and your wife better by listening to Mary Lou's remembrance, viewing that very special video, and seeing the wonderful embroidered artwork that will keep Carolyn alive forever. Even though it was a difficult time for everyone, I also will aways treasure the time I had with Carolyn myself back in February.

Take care. Thinking about you all.

We didn't know Carolyn personally but being friends of her daughter, Caroline Smith, we have heard many wonderful stories. Caroline always talks very fondly of her mother and family so we're sure she'll be sorely missed. Having just lost our father, we understand the time you are going through. All of our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family for peace and comfort.
