The Gorzsas family sends their deepest sympathy to the Francett's. Louie and Helen went to P'burg High School, with Betty. They will have very fond memories of all the good times they had together.

GOD BLESS!

I would like to send my deepest sympathy to my Aunt Betty's family. She is my Great Aunt. My father is her nephew, Bill Shepherd. She had to be the most sweetest lady I have ever met. I always looked forward to receiving that special birthday card from my Aunt Betty every year. She always remembered. She loved her family and friends very much. You could just feel that from her when she saw you or talked to you on the phone. She came to my daughter Lauren's birthday parties in the summer with her friend Dottie. She really enjoyed that. I will miss her dearly.

Betty Francett was the aunt of my father, William L. Shepherd and my great aunt. The lasting memories I have of Betty was that she seemed to be everyone's "aunt". No matter how often days or weeks went by without seeing her, she would always remember to send a Christmas or Birthday card and offer some kind words that made her the loving person that we all knew. As a child, I remember seeing her at all of the holiday gatherings and weddings with the biggest smile. In recent past, I would often see her out shopping and she would always go out of her way to give me a big hug and ask how my career and classes were going. She was one of a kind, and a golden example of a great human being.

Barbara has recently informed me about the death of my dear friend Betty. I am writing to indicate how sorry I am for she was most special to me. Betty was my dearest friend from high school. We enjoyed remembering those days of our youth, especially the dances at the YMCA. I know the "Y" dances were most important for Betty, for that is where she and Bob met. I recall how thrilled she was. Please know that she will always be an important part of my life and will be remembered fondly.

Dear Mom,

It is three years today since you left us and it seems like yesterday. You may be gone from our lives in body but you are in our hearts forever. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you and miss you deeply. We love you always.

Your loving daughter,
Barbara
