I was sorry to hear of the loss of my old friend and Wilson High School Classmate. We also served in the Air Force at the same time and although we were stationed on different bases, Woody surprised me a few times by hitching a ride on a military aircraft to come and visit. Woody and his parents' home was a place where everyone was made to feel welcome and he shall be missed. Please accept my deepest condolences on his passing.
