"Dee Dee", as I knew her, will be sadly missed. She was a good neighbor and friend. We had many chats and laughs together over coffee. I am so sorry I cannot be to the Memorial Service and this is a great way to express my condolences to all those who loved her as I did. She will always remain in my memories of good times past.

Love always and rest in Peace,

It's amazing how life's journey takes you in so many different directions you loose touch with those you loved so much in your youth. But, the incredible memories always remain. So many talks of our dreams, you would be a famous dancer and I a millionaire. Well, I am not quite a millionaire, but my bet is you have found a cloud - created your dance floor-and all of heaven is dancing with you.

You brought us to laughter
You brought us to tears
Your smiling touch
The pain disappears

We have been to the sword
seen it come, seen it die
As you enter the light
This yielding well try

This promise is rare
One day at a time
We've agreed to dare
God, holding you tight

I believe in your eyes
I believe in your fate
I believe you can fly
Angels wings to create

His wide open arms
We can let you go
All good things come to end
Ride your way, do not break or bend

A voice from behind calls up anger and fear
We can silence that scream it's simple and clear
Nothing must die only if failed to mend
So take care my love my friend
Keep it precious

There is nothing that I can say about Deidre that most people don't already know. I only knew her for a very short time, but there was something about her, that just made you feel like you have known her for years. I could talk to her about anything. I think the funniest memory I have of her is, Deidre at work, standing on top of a milk crate to serve the soup for the evening meal. I wish I'd had the forethought to get a picture of her doing that. I would say that she will be missed, but, she has already been missed.

Deidre, I will miss you dearly. I will never forget the Thanksgiving dinners or the Christmas' we've had. And I will take care of your grandchildren. I know how you worry about them. But you don't have to worry anymore. We are doing fine. I will also miss the three or four hour phone conversations we had and the lifetime movies. But I will tell the girls all about you, I won't let them forget ever. You are always in our hearts.

Deidre,
To my very best friend while we were young. Our families were always together, you and I shared so many memories. You were my sister in everyway. In my heart you will always remain. When I see the first morning ray of sunshine, I will know you are brightly smiling on us all.

Love you forever!!!!

What can I say about her that anyone who knew her wouldn't say.... She was my best friend, my sister in heart and soul, the times we had together will remain in my heart forever. She taught me so much about life, one thing I will never forget is her drilling in my head that no matter what My mom was my mom and I would miss her when she was gone, and well she was right. My mom and her were very close as well she considered my mom her mom, and they had a bond that sometimes I think was stronger then my own, 3 mos. and 5 days after sister passed my mom went to join her, now they are up in heaven laughing, and watching down on us all {in between watching a movie on lifetime}

Thanks to my sister I have a beautiful daughter, 1 month after sis passed away I conceived my little miracle after being told I was unable to have children, and I know Diedre had something to do with it, every time my daughter laughs I know it's Dee coming laughing through her. Again everyone who knew sister loved her and has many fond memories with her whether it be talking on the telephone or just sitting back having a few Buds, or dancing her butt off, she left us all many happy memories. To all that loved her and are missing her just do what I do remember the good times and know that one day we will reunite.......
