Please accept my condolences regarding the passing of Alice. Alice worshipped at First Baptist Church in Phillipsburg during the 1980's. She was always friendly and uplifting to share with.

Growing up as a child, Alice was like a second mother to me. She lived with my mom, sister, and I. She was a wonderful, smart, creative, fun-loving woman. She was the leader of my sister and I's girl scout troop. We always did so many great things together. She would take us wherever we wanted to go. I remember going camping one time, which was especially fun. And we were always doing arts and crafts. All the girls, including my sister were at least 3 or 4 years older than me. But, I was never left out. I was their mascot before I was even old enough to be a brownie. A lot of times, you would find me over at her house just hanging out, watching movies and eating Little Debbie cakes. As I got a little older, I would help her around the house, like doing her laundry and shopping, and she would pay me. But, most of all I just enjoyed being with her.
