Bill was a man who always cheered up my day. He would laugh all the time, and he enjoyed life. I will miss him. I am a nurse he called "Sally" and I was pulled to ICU the last week, I got to spend time with him which now I am grateful for. Sympathies go out to his family.

He will be greatly missed by me. It will be lonely the next time I go for a haircut, because my pal won't be there. And it will be sad to have an empty chair on the front porch on Memorial Day.

I would like to express my condolences and sympathies to all the family and friends who will miss Bill. After reading the tribute by the Casey family, it is clear that this gentleman was quite extraordinary. We are close friends with a few of the grandchildren, Bill, who I believe is named after him, and Sharon, with her husband and children. May the peace of God go with the family, to know that Mr. Roseberry has been reunited with friends and family that have gone before him, especially Mr. Casey whom he served with in World War II. God Bless!

Knowing that Bill was coming in to the office for a visit made my day go better. He had a way about him that brightened everyone's day, especially mine. It was a joy to answer the phone and hear Bill's voice on the other end. He was quick with a joke or a sympathetic ear if needed. May we always remember the wonderful person that took the time to make friends along the way and enjoy life to the fullest no matter what the circumstances were surrounding him. I feel truly blessed to have known Bill for the past several years and will miss him tremendously. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his wife, Eleanor and his family.

William D. Roseberry, was my grandfather and my children's great-grandfather. We all miss him very much. Poppy was a good hearted man, and extremely stubborn at times, but if you needed him he was there in a flash. I believe that God had his reasons for taking my grandfather, and I believe that Pop is now in a better place. I will never forget my walks up town to the Post Office in Washington, NJ when I was a little girl or the days when he and I would stop to talk to a hole in the barn in the alley way by his house, where he told me that a guinea pig lived.(nothing was ever in that hole).

I will never forget him and he lives through my children; my boys look just like a Roseberry and there is no shame in that.

We love you Poppy and we will never forget you
