It was with great sadness to hear of Sal's passing. Immediately, I reflected on the privilege of knowing Sal for over 25 years. A great joy filled me. I can hear him now ... "Hey Cuz , how ya' doing"

Sal truly came from the greatest generation, A man of genuine warmth, fairness, hard work, a joy for life, moral clarity, generosity and a candor sorely lacking today. Although I feel sadness, the joy of knowing him and the lessons of life he shared, will stay with me forever. I can see Saint Peter now, shaking hands warmly with Sal and saying "Welcome home good and faithful servant ... let's have breakfast".
