Ginevra M. Umbrello, 75, of Palmer Twp., died Friday, April 10, 1998 in her home.

She was a sewing machine operator for the former Easton Dress Co. and Jay Lore Sportswear in Phillipsburg.

Born March 28,1923 in Petrizzi, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Vittoria Maida Umbrello.

She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

Her husband, the late Claudio Umbrello died in 1979.

She is survived by a son, Frank of New Village, NJ and a brother, Joseph Maida of Phillipsburg. A sister Josephine Santoro died earlier.

Funeral services will be held 9:00 a.m. from the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in St. Philip and St. James Church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in St. Philip and St. James Cemetery, Greenwich Twp., NJ. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
