Timothy C. Vas, 41, of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, December 16, 2000 in Warren Hospital.

He was a former laborer for American Paper in Alpha, NJ.

Born April 7, 1959 in Easton, Pa., he was the son of Joseph L. Vas, Sr., of Phillipsburg and the late Dorothy M. Brower Vas.

He graduated Phillipsburg High School in 1977.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two brothers, Thomas J. of Phillipsburg and Joseph L., Jr. of Palmer Twp.; two sisters, Theresa A. Vas of Phillipsburg and Mary M. Vas of Harmony Twp.; three nephews, a niece, a great niece and a great nephew.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg. Rev. Jack Roan, pastor of Stewartsville Presbyterian Church in Stewartsville, NJ will be the officiant for the services. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services in the funeral home on Wednesday.
