Genevieve Mae Vaccaro, 89, of Midland, MI, died early Tuesday morning, September 16, 2003, at MidMichigan Stratford Village, Midland, MI. She was born March 12, 1914 in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late John and Susan (Martin) Goodyear. She was married to Anthony J. Vaccaro, and he predeceased her in January 1969. Mrs. Vaccaro lived in the Easton, Pennsylvania area most of her life and was employed as a teacher's aide for children with special needs in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. While living in Easton, she was a member of the Bethel Memorial Baptist Church in Palmer Township. Mrs. Vaccaro moved to Midland, MI to be near her family in September 2001. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, James and Donna Vaccaro of Midland, MI; two grandchildren, Daniel A. Vaccaro of Bay City, MI and Lori Parsons and her husband Larry of Midland; and three great-grandchildren, Justin L. Parsons, James O. Parsons and Joel S. Parsons. Many nieces and nephews also survive her.

Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2003, from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 West Wheeler Street, Midland. Pastor Lynne Biddle of the Christian Celebration Center in Midland will officiate.

Graveside services and burial will take place 11 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2003 in South Easton Cemetery in Easton, Pennsylvania. Local arrangments are under the direction of the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ.
