Neal H. Wieder, 61, of Phillipsburg, died Thursday, January 4, 1995 in Warren Hospital.
He was a carpenter and roofer for many years and last worked for Roger Locandro, Jr., Inc. In Stockton, NJ
Born December 18, 1934 in Easton, he was the son of Edmond P. Wieder of Umatilla, Fla and the late Iola D. Schafer Wieder.
He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was an Airman First Class with the 66th Field Maintenance Squad.
He was of the presbyterian faith.
He was a member of the American Legion Post Number 588; the Rice Ebner Post Association; The Order of the Fleas; Liberty Hose Co. Number 2; The Citizen's Hose Co., all of Easton and the Y.M.I.A. in Phillipsburg.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a sister, Norma W. Heimbach of Albany, NY; three half-brothers, Thomas N. Brown of Placitas, NM, Robert Wieder of Butler, NJ and William of Umatilla, Fla.; and one half-sister, Mary Anna King of So. Orange, NJ. A sister, Barbara A. Lehman died earlier.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
