Nikal Lashawn Jones, 18, of Phillipsburg, N.J., died September 25, 2020 in Wilson Borough, Pa.
Born July 1, 2002 in Plainfield, N.J, he was a son of Rashied Goodwin and Nicole Jones, as well as the step-son of Darnell Rose and Tyrese Fleming.
He was employed at the WalMart warehouse in Bethlehem, Pa.
He attended the Church of the Living God in Plainfield, NJ and the Greater St. Paul Baptist Church, Somerville. NJ.
Nikal formerly attended Phillipsburg High School where he played basketball, ran track and played on the football team. He was also very involved in little league football having played for the Firthtown Falcons, Pal Enforcers and the Little Liners.

Visitation will be held 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday in Walters Park, 1 Meyner Road, Phillipsburg. Services will begin at 11:00. Social distancing guidelines must be followed, including masks. Please bring a lawn chair with you.
