Camilla M. Jebran, 89, of Harmony Township, N.J., died October 19, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Born January 9, 1931 in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Josephine (Merlo) Marotta.

She was a 1948 graduate of Phillipsburg Parochial High School and of Churchman Business School. A strong and selfless woman with a powerful devotion to the Blessed Mother, Camilla was a member of the St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church in Phillipsburg, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for 22 years and Eucharistic adorer for many of those same years. She was a member of Court Warren #389 Catholic Daughters of the Americas, having received her 25-year pin.  Camilla was also a past president of the Harmony Township Elementary School PTA.

Camilla and her husband Charles “Jebbie” Jebran observed their 61st wedding anniversary in May of this year.

In addition to her husband, Camilla is survived by a daughter, Joanne M. Clayton and her husband Matt and a son, Charles G. and his wife Diane, both of North Wales, PA; a brother Thomas A. Marotta, Sr. (Sherry) of Rockledge, FL; 4 grandchildren, Eric (Allison), Alexander, Jacob and Elizabeth and 2 great-grandchildren, Elianna and Camira.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their last respects to Camilla at the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home on Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 6-8:00 pm. Due to COVID-19 limitations and in order to keep all safe, immediate family will not be present.  All are welcome to attend Camilla’s Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2020 in St. Philip & St. James Roman Catholic Church, 426 South Main Street, Phillipsburg. (Masks will be required) Entombment will take place in Holy Apostle’s Mausoleum, Greenwich Township, N.J.

Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider donations to St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, 430 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.
