NOTICE: THE FUNERAL FOR TONY SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY, MARCH 4, 2019 HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL TUESDAY, MARCH 5, 2019. ALL TIMES REMAIN THE SAME. VISITATION WILL STILL BE HELD TODAY, SUNDAY, MARCH 3, 2019 FROM 2:00 TO 4:00 P.M.

 

Anthony S. “Tony” Stefano 66, of Pohatcong Township NJ, died February 26, 2019 in his home.

Born October 1, 1952 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Hineline) Stefano.

Tony was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

He was a manager at Shammy Shine Car Wash, previously at their Palmer Township, PA location and then at their Greenwich Township, NJ location. He previously worked for James River Paper Mill, Milford, NJ.

His wife of forty-five years, Sandra J. (Marsh) Stefano died September 22, 2017.

Survivors include three sons, A.J., Joseph, and Nicholas and his wife, Vicki; eight grandchildren, Devon Fiorino, Derek, Nicholas, Logan, Annabella, Clementine, Anthony and Giada Stefano; three brothers Joseph (Deborah), Michael and Rich (Joan).

Visitation will be held 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. www.noto-wynkoop.com. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 5th in St. Philip and St. James Church, 426 South Main St, Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ.
