Roger Buchko, 57, of Greenwich Township, N.J., formerly of Lopatcong Township, N.J., passed away on November 25, 2020.

Born October 16, 1963 in Perth Amboy, N.J., Roger was a son of Robert J. Buchko (wife, Judy Farr) of Cliffwood, N.J., and the late Joan (Kertesz) Buchko.

Roger graduated Middlesex High School in 1981. A master woodworking craftsman, he co-founded B&B Custom Cabinets in Middlesex, N.J., and later worked as a carpenter.

In Roger’s earlier days, when he wasn’t playing darts or shooting pool, he could be found fishing down the shore, at the Musconetcong River or Merrill Creek Reservoir. He also had a passion for mechanics and enjoyed modifying trucks, mini choppers, and go carts.

In addition to his father, Roger is survived by a sister, Christine Visciano; an aunt Betty Kertesz; two uncles, Paul and Michael Kertesz; his beloved nephew Rob Buchko (Robbie to his Uncle Roger), and many friends including Dr. Ana Gomes and her family. Roger is pre-deceased by his brother Robert, who passed away in 1994.

Visitation will be held 9:00-10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 9th in St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, 426 S. Main Street, Phillipsburg, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements: Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ.

To my Son Roger ............
Roger Please forgive me if I can't visit you in Noto-Wynkoop. I am in very poor shape physically and Judy is also suffering with a breathing disorder. We are both waiting for our numbers to be called by Jesus. Your suffering is now over and you can rest my son.

I want to remember you as you were and that you have moved to a better place. May GOD be with you in heaven. Our Pastor at our Christian Church in Cliffwood NJ is having a Special Service for you soon.

Jesus Loves You my Son and you will find comfort in him

God Bless You !!
I Love You !!!
