Angelina "Angie" Attinello, 98, of Williams Township, PA, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 15, 2013 in her home.
Born August 18, 1915 in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Santa Mugavero Consentino.
She graduated from St. Philip and St. James Catholic High School in 1933.She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, and the church's Over-Fifties Club. She also attended the Phillipsburg Senior Center, Future Focus of Warren Hospital, the Cheerful Singles Club and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Warren. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and crafts.
Angie married Michael Attinello on September 20, 1941 and enjoyed forty-one years of marriage until his death in January 1983.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph and his wife, Zarohee of Pleasanton, CA and Salvatore and his wife, Joanne of San Lorenzo, CA; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and her loving friends, Gertrude Cascioli and Jayne Guadagnino. Six brothers, Andrew, Antonio, Charles, John, Joseph, and Samuel and a sister, Grace Rotondo, all died earlier.
Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Thursday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Thursday in the church, 426 South Main St, Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ.
