Anthony Rocco "Tony" Frank, III, 62, of Easton, died January 2, 2012 in St. Luke's Hospice.
Born April 12, 1949 in Ellsworth, Maine, he was a son of the late Anthony R., Jr and Constance Ingalls Frank.
Tony will be remembered for his integrity, character, selflessness, compassion, and being a giving and caring man. This was evident to all who knew Tony and through his work as a house parent at the Children's Home of Easton. He also previously worked for Ingersoll-Rand, Phillipsburg, many years ago.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam war. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.
Survivors include a daughter, Chante Frank, of Easton; a son, Lonny Izak, Sr, of Phillipsburg; a brother, Robert Gary Frank of Corpus Christy, Texas; a sister, Constance Davis and her husband, Philip of Pen Argyl, Pa; grandchildren, Nahjah and Jahnir Ellis, Paris Black and Damani Simpson; step-brother, Stephen Frank, Pohatcong Township; step-sisters, Neva Ann Frank, Chicago, IL; Deborah Frank, Monmouth County, NJ and Susand Gearhardt of Phillipsburg, and many nieces and nephews.
Tony was pre-deceased by his love, Kendra C. Izak-Hower and a brother, Bruce W. Frank.
A gathering to remember Tony will be held 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, at the Brown and Lynch American Legion Post #9, 2260 Corriere Road, Palmer Township. Arrangements: Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main Street, Phillipsburg. www.noto-wynkoop.com.
