Anthony J. "Tony" Frinzi, of Bethlehem, PA, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, died Monday, October 12, 2015 on his 91st birthday, in Alexandria Manor, Bethlehem, PA.
Born October 12, 1924 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Carmello and Concetta (Frinzi) Frinzi.
Tony was a Private First Class in the Army from 1943 to 1946 during World War Two.
He formerly worked at Sanco Piece Dye Works, Phillipsburg for 23 years and worked at Cameron - Atlantic States Pipe Company from 1971 to 1987.
He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg and was a member of the Bernardine-May American Legion Post, Phillipsburg and the Order of Fleas, Easton.
Tony and his wife, the former Norma E. Nardo, observed their 57th wedding anniversary before her passing in 2004.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Arndt and her husband, Gary, of Lopatcong Township, NJ; three grandchildren, Karen Arndt, Amy Thorsen and her husband, Eric and Allison Reibman and her husband, David and two great-grandchildren, Hannah Reibman and Ethan Thorsen; a brother, John Frinzi of St. Petersburg, Fla. A brother, Salvatore and three sisters, Regina Mereo, Grace Romeo and Pearl all died earlier.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Thursday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.
