Barbara A. Jimenez, 92, of Lopatcong Township, died peacefully on April 9, 2024.
She was born June 18, 1931 and raised in Brooklyn, NY with her parents Richard A. Farrell and Madeline (Worters) Farrell.
Barbara was a singer who was featured on the Ted Mack Original Variety Hour television show when she was 13 and recorded 3 songs at the same age.
Barbara married Adam R. Jimenez in 1957 and moved to New Jersey in 1964. She was an active member of The League of Women Voters and worked in the List Management industry for 20 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed needlework and gardening.
She is survived by her four children, Jackie Quinn of Stewartsville New Jersey, Holly Thornburg of Millbury, Massachusetts, Richard Jimenez of Cummings, Georgia, Chris Jimenez of North Brunswick, New Jersey; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, Adam, age 85 in 2012 and her granddaughter Sarah Quinn, age 29 in 2023.
