Brian G. Steckert

Brian G. Steckert, 29, of Phillipsburg, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Phillipsburg.

Born September 19, 1983, he was the son of George and Cindy Lang Steckert of Palm Coast, Florida.

He was previously employed at Alpha Auto Body where his passion for automotive work flourished under the direction of Robbie Baita.

Brian loved food, spending time at the river, playing quoits, shooting pool, motorcycle riding and tattoos. He also enjoyed spending time with his two dogs, Yoda and Buster.

He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Amy A. Vaughn and her husband, William, Jr. of Phillipsburg and Jessica Steckert and her fiancee, Dan Jacob, of Palm Coast, Florida; a step-sister, Susan Gravine and her husband, Rodney, of Simpson, Pa; nephews, Clayton, Anthony and Blake; nieces, Gianna and Gracelyn; aunts Debbie, Shelly, and Kim and numerous uncles and cousins.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family, under the direction of the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg.
