Carol Ann Beers, 63, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died Saturday, May 10, 2014 in her home.
Born December 27, 1950 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late John E. Nemeth and Kathryn (Tippett) Nemeth Miner.
Carol was an emergency medical technician for LifeStar Response of Bethlehem, PA.
Carol devoted her life to helping and caring for others, from being a nurse early in her career, to serving on the Phillipsburg Emergency Squad and her work with LifeStar Response. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her three cats and her dog, Bella. She also enjoyed crocheting and a good glass of red wine.
Survivors include her domestic partner, Patti A. (Riley) Parent; three daughters, Darcylynn Olah McPherson of Corning, NY, Denise M. Beers DeMarco and her husband, Peter of Pohatcong Township and Deborah E. Beers Bodogh and her husband, Charles of Alpha, NJ; two sisters, Harriet Heiselmeyer of Bangor, Pa. and Nancy Samoge of Easton, Pa; five grandchildren, Sarah and Stephen McPherson, Samantha Snyder, Angelena and Giuliana DeMarco; three great-grandchildren, Emma Snyder and Myia and Dakota Unangst, and several nieces and nephews. Her step-father, Robert Miner died earlier.
Visitation hours will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ.
