Carole A. Ujvary, 77, of Bethlehem Township, PA, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, died February 22, 2022.
Born July 7, 1944 in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Anna Mae (Kreidler) Peters.
Carole was a former cashier for C.R. Pharmacy in Pohatcong Township, NJ and a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Greenwich Township, NJ. She was an avid fan of all Philadelphia sports teams. Carole loved playing bingo and watching game shows.
Her husband, Carl R. Ujvary, Sr. died December 14, 2009.
Carole is survived by two daughters, Michelle (Richard) Buskirk and Tami (Daniel) Petchonka, both of Easton; five grandchildren, Melinda Baker, Timothy Doncses, Daniel Petchonka Jr., Ryan O'Brien and Alaina Petchonka; and four great-grand daughters. A brother, William Peters and grandson, Tylor Petchonka both died earlier.
It would be wrong to say Carole lost her battle, because she never stopped fighting. No matter how much pain or sickness she faced, Carole remained strong when others would’ve quit. Through her we have learned what strength, resilience and perseverance truly looks like.
