Charleen Ball Obituary
Charlene A. Ball, 76, of Holland Township, N.J., died February 27, 2020 in Palmer Township, Pa.
Born July 26, 1943 in Easton, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Oren) Thatcher.
Charlene formerly worked at Easton Overall after high school, then as an office manage for Peter P. Dennis, Phillipsburg and Stotz and Fatzinger Office Supply, Easton.
Charlene and her husband, Kenneth D. Ball were married May 2, 1964.
Charlene enjoyed crocheting, sewing, reading and participating in many cruise car shows in the area with her husband.
In addition to her husband, Charlene is survived by two brothers, Charles Thatcher Jr. of Gulfport, Fla., and John (Nancy) Thatcher of Bethlehem Township, Pa.; three sisters, Shirley Grube of Palmer Township, Pa., Dorothy Gashinski (Gary) of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Bonnie Keller (Paul) of Phillipsburg and several nieces and nephews. A brother William Derringer died earlier.
Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg. www.noto-wynkoop.com. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.
