Charlene L. Patterson Lopatcong Township, NJ Charlene L. Patterson, 73, of Lopatcong Township, died Sunday, September 14, 2014.
Born August 24, 1941 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. "Whitey" and Lillian (Conti) Glanz.
Charlene was a legal secretary for several attorneys, including former Northampton County District Justice David Reibman, Charles A. Spaziani, of Easton, Wallace Worth of Allentown, Michael J. Perrucci, of Phillipsburg and her son, Robert C. Patterson, Easton, PA. She also formerly worked as a secretary for Bethlehem Steel Co. and was a personal assistant to former New Jersey Gov. Robert Miner.
Charlene was the valedictorian of the Class of Phillipsburg Class of 1958.
She was a member of the Legal Secretary Association of the Lehigh Valley; a member of the former Woman's Club of Easton; Feline Urban Rescue and Rehabilitation "FURR" of Stewartsville, NJ.
Her husband, the late Charles E. "Butch" Patterson, died in 1974.
She is survived by a son, Robert C. Patterson and his wife, Susan Hutnik of Forks Township, PA; a daughter, Michele Patterson of Albany, GA; a sister, Marilyn J. Rotondo of Palmer Township' two grandchildren, Jack RC Patterson and Thomas C. Patterson; two nephews, David Rotondo and Randy Rotondo and his wife, Heidi and a grand nephew Asher Rotondo.
Visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will in Easton Cemetery.
