David D. Pierce, Sr,. of Easton, Pa, died Saturday, December 22, 2012 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, the day before his 65th birthday.
Born December 23, 1947 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late William S. and Marion L. Wilson Pierce.
David was a maintenance worker for several area businesses, including McGinley Mills, J.T. Baker Chemical and Allentown Secure Treatment Unit.
He was a member of Safety First Fire Company, West Easton, PA.
His wife of thirty-three years, the former Kay L. Storm, died March 6, 2001.
Survivors include two sons; David D. Pierce, Jr, of Catasauqua, Pa and Kenneth, of Easton; a brother, John of Easton; two sisters, Carol Hutchison of Phillipsburg and Darlene Silverthorn of Nazareth, Pa; two grandchildren, Briana and Trent Pierce. Three brothers, Paul, William and Richard, all died earlier.
Visitation will be held Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Stewartsville Lutheran Cemetery, Stewartsville, NJ. Online condolences may be submitted by visiting www.noto-wynkoop.com.
