Debra K. French, 62, of Phillipsburg, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in her home, with her family by her side.
Born January 31, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Harry J. and Freda Pursell.
She was a former ward clerk at Warren Haven in Mansfield Township, NJ, retiring February 1, 2015. Prior to that, she worked for many years at Warren Glen Grocery Store
in Warren Glen, NJ.
Debra enjoyed fishing, camping, going to the casino, attending antique car shows to show off her mothers ‘69 Ford Mustang. She loved spending time with all her friends at Joe’s Steak Shop Cruise Nights on Tuesday evenings. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Her favorite holiday was Halloween and loved to dress up for it.
Debra and her husband, Harry L. French would of observed their 36th wedding anniversary on September 2, 2015.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Danielle Matarazzo and her husband, Charles of Hampton, NJ; a step-daughter, Laurie Kline and her husband, Joseph of Belvidere, NJ; a brother, Doug Pursell and his wife Lynn of Milford, NJ; three sisters, Connie Wilson and her husband, Steve of Alpha, NJ; Michele Moore and her husband Keith of Green Castle, PA and Jean Shea and her husband Dick of Mt. Laurel, NJ; five grandchildren, Brooke and Charles Matarazzo, Katie, Sarah and Lindsay Kline and many brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews; Her best friend since they were kids, Sharon Hardy (Osborne) AKA Oz; as well as her Chihuahua, Sands.
Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m., Sunday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. www.noto-wynkoop.com.
