Dorothy A. Carberry, 91, formerly of the Delaware Heights section of Phillipsburg, NJ, died Thursday, January 5, 2017.
Born June 4, 1925 in West Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Piatak) Lesko.
Dorothy formerly worked as a treater operator for Dixie Cup, a former division of American Can in Wilson Borough, PA.
Her husband, John James Carberry died in 1988.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Marie Terry of Hanover Township (Luzerne County) PA and Catherine Mary Wolford of Allentown, PA; eight grandchildren, Robert, Kyle and Ryan Smith, Cynthia Terry Vargas and Karen Urquhart; Dylan and Jonathan White and Carly Minarovic; seven great-grandchildren, Robbie and Samantha Smith, Serene Vargas, Lexcia White and Anthony James, Michael Carter and Brielle Rose Minarovic. Dorothy would also want to mention her former son-in-law, Robert Wolford.
Dorothy's three brothers, John, Bill and Steve Lesko; six sisters, Eleanor Yanko, Josephine Budd, Helene Masis, Jennie Lesko, Mary McCormick, Anna Mizak; a great-grandson, Jordan Matthew Minarovic and son-in-law, Jack Terry all died earlier.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. Services will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home. www.noto-wynkoop.com.
