Edward Russell Hull, Sr, 86 of Lopatcong Township, formerly of Phillipsburg, died April 18, 2017.
Born June 23, 1930 in Easton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Edward and Edith (Jones) Hull.
He was a corporal in the Army during the Korean War.
Edward was a truck driver for the former J.T. Baker Chemcial Co, Phillipsburg and Asbury Graphite Mill, Asbury, NJ and was a welder at the former ARGO Welding Co, Phillipsburg.
He was a former stock car driver, racing in Harmony, NJ and Nazareth, PA.
Survivors include his son, Edward Jr. and his wife, Gloria of Phillipsburg and five grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon and Loren Hull and Jessica Taylor and Eddie Hull and four step-children, Robert Reinhard, Nancy Batarick, Ruth McCann and Sandra "Sam" Daney. Three sisters, Hazel J. Loebsack, Bertha Johnson and Martha, and a brother, Henry all died earlier.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will be held in the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
