Eileen E. Wieller, 67, of Harmony Township, NJ, died June 27, 2022.
Born June 30, 1954 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was a daughter of Dorothy A. (Gornick) Casey of Forks Township, Pa. and the late Leo Casey.
Eileen graduated Phillipsburg Catholic High School in 1972, then attended Georgian Court in Lakewood, NJ. She also attended Churchman's Business School and graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing in Bethlehem, Pa.
Eileen became a registered nurse in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She worked for the Visiting Homemaker Service of Warren County, Inc. in Washington, NJ, Gracedale in Nazareth, Pa and Heath Village in Hackettstown, NJ.
As well as being the "go-to" nurse in the family, Eileen was well known for her green thumb. She had a love for flowers and plants. She took pride in sharing advice on gardening as well as sharing plants with others. But Eileen's true passion was her love of family. She was proud of her children and cherished her grandchildren. Her favorite motto was "life is good." Eileen will be sorely missed.
Eileen and her husband David E. Wieller observed their 44th wedding anniversary April 21th.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son David M. and his wife Amy of Easton, Pa and a daughter Taryn E. Abernethy and her husband Don of Forks Township, Pa; a brother, Leo J. Casey and his wife Valerie of Toms River, NJ; two sisters, Kathleen Jinks and her husband Roger of Lopatcong Township NJ and Patricia A. Miller and her companion Kenneth Scarr of Alexandria Township, NJ; four grandchildren, Oliver and Carter Abernethy and Violet and Vaughn Wieller and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. (www.noto-wynkoop.com) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Saturday in the Church of the Annunciation, 80 Main Street, Bloomsbury, NJ.
