Elwood Deemer Obituary

Elwood J. "Pat" Deemer, 73, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died May 18, 2016.

Born October 23, 1942 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Samuel and Blanch (VanCamp) Deemer.

He was a retired materials handler at the Oxford Textile in Oxford, NJ.

He was a life social member of the Jersey Hose Co., Phillipsburg. He enjoyed fishing and was a Pittsburgh Steelers, Dale Earnhart, Sr. and Kevin Harvick fan.

Survivors include four daughters, Michelle Snyder, Corrina Deemer, Laura Deemer and Samantha Kramer; a step-daughter, Tammy Dalrymple; five sisters, Grace Abel, Shirley Wilson, Margaret Utecht, Hazel "Tootie" Lance and Jane Aquailente; three grandchildren, Nick Aponte, Katelyn Deemer and Austin Snyder; two great-grandchildren, Nevaeh and Cameron Aponte; three step-grandchildren, Gavin Dalrymple-Walker and Kaydence and Jayce Walker. Several brothers and sisters died earlier.

Memorial services will be held 7:30 p.m. Friday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. www.noto-wynkoop.
