Eric T. Wilson, formerly of Alpha, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at St. Luke’s Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ.
Born April 5, 1975, he was the son of the late Thomas E. and Irene (Csezmadia) Wilson.
He graduated from Phillipsburg High School and furthered his education at DeSales University in Saucon Valley, PA.
Eric was a kind spirit with a big heart and a wonderful friend to many. His professional and personal life spanned a wide spectrum.
He loved the outdoors—bird watching at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, fishing, or just relaxing by the river. He was a dedicated fan of the Mets, Chicago Bears, and Penn State and enjoyed pitching quoits.
Eric's musical talent stood out, excelling on the keyboard, guitar, and harmonica, with Pink Floyd as his all-time favorite band. Known for his exceptional intelligence, he was also passionate about cooking, biking, video games, 80’s sitcoms, and a wide range of movies. He also explored the history of the Lenape Indians along the Delaware River and cared deeply for cats, especially his beloved Tina. A gifted storyteller, Eric delighted in sharing humorous and sometimes embarrassing stories about his friends, always leaving listeners in laughter.
Eric dedicated many years to Boscov’s Department Store in their Loss Prevention department and later worked as a Sales Associate for several local furniture stores, most recently Ashley Furniture in Phillipsburg.
Surviving are two sisters, Pamela Young and her husband Charles of Wilson Borough, PA, and Kathleen Smith of Allentown, PA; a brother, Lester Lattig Jr. of Bushkill, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
Those wishing to offer an expression of sympathy are asked to consider donations in his name to The Center for Animal Health & Welfare, 1165 Island Park Rd, Easton, PA 18042.
