Ernest Alan Nemeth

Ernest Alan "Al" Nemeth, 78, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died January 7, 2026.

Born July 14, 1947 in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was a son of the late Ernest William and Frances (Kohle) Nemeth.

He had served in the Army.

He formerly worked as an electronics technician for IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY,  as a manager at Lifetime Doors in Forks Township and as a newspaper delivery driver for the Express-Times in Easton, PA.
 

While attending Phillipsburg High School, he was the captain of the Chess team.

He enjoyed playing pool with the YMIA Pool team in Phillipsburg.

He is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Perowski and her husband, Charles; a son, Keith Alan Nemeth, a brother, William “Bill” Nemeth; a sister, Ann Rohrbach; grandchildren, Jared and Stephen Kukor, Jr., Tamara Hoadley and her husband Dana. Keith Nemeth, II and wife Kara and Ashlee Vaughn and her husband Michael; great-grandchildren Jared D. and Kandice Kukor, Madison and Danica Hoadley, Chase, Brooklynn and MacKenzie Vaughn and Hudson and Mila Nemeth.
